PERFECT PET SERVICES - TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Definitions

In these conditions unless the context otherwise requires:

‘Perfect Pet Services’ means any persons working under that name at their request. 'The Owner' means the individual who has authorised Perfect Pet Services to take care of their pet(s) and for whom Perfect Pet Services has agreed to do so. 'The ‘Booking Form’ means the particulars form so headed. 'The website' means Perfect Pet Services website at www.perfectpetservices.com

Conditions Applicable

These conditions shall apply to the contract between Perfect Pet Services and the Owner to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions.

Charges and Payment

The charges shall be an amount set by Perfect Pet Services and agreed (either verbally or in writing) by the Owner.

In addition Perfect Pet Services shall be entitled to charge the Owner:

Any special charges authorised in advance.
Any veterinary charges incurred by Perfect Pet Services for the benefit of the Owner's pet.
The full replacement value of any property (whether belonging to a Perfect Pet Services or to any third party) damaged by the Owner's pet including (but not limited to) damage by defecation or chewing to any carpet or furnishing.
Any charges relating to the above shall be payable by the Owner on collection of their pet, unless otherwise agreed by Perfect Pet Services.
50% of the total Home Boarding booking cost, which would be the whole of the deposit, should the booking be cancelled 14 days (or less) prior to the start date.

Owner's Undertaking

The Owner hereby agrees and undertakes with and warrants to Perfect Pet Services:

That the Owner has full power to enter into this agreement without the consent of any third party.
The Owner must satisfy themselves as to the reliability and trustworthiness of Perfect Pet Services and must meet them in advance.
The Owner must have insurance for their pet to cover loss, injury or death whilst in the care of Perfect Pet Services.
That the pet has not been exposed to rabies or distemper within the period of 30 days prior to this agreement and must be fully vaccinated in line with the Animal Boarding Establishments Act and such inoculations remain effective at the date of this agreement.
The Owner will leave the pet’s vaccinations certificate with Perfect Pet Services for the period of boarding.
That the pet is clean, with de-flea and anti-worm treatments.
That the pet has not been in any other kenneling establishment within the two weeks prior to boarding.
That the pet has not at any time prior to the date hereof attacked any human being or animal.
That there are no material facts or circumstances, which have not been disclosed to Perfect Pet Services and which, if disclosed, might reasonably be expected to affect the decision of Perfect Pet Services to enter into this agreement.
That the information set out in the Booking Form is complete and correct in every respect.
That Perfect Pet Services may engage the services of a veterinary surgeon of its choice and authorise such veterinary surgeon to undertake such treatment as may in the joint opinion of Perfect Pet Services and the veterinary surgeon be required to treat (in extreme cases euthanise) the Owner's pet.
That the Owner will indemnify Perfect Pet Services and its servants and agents against all costs, claims and damages arising (directly or indirectly) from any act of the Owner's pet whilst in Perfect Pet Services’ care.
That the Owner will collect the pet promptly at the end of the agreed boarding period and at that time pay any outstanding charge.
Any breach by the owner of the undertakings/warranties contained in this agreement shall entitle Perfect Pet Services to place the Owner's pet in boarding kennels at the Owner's expense, and if necessary, without giving notice to the Owner.
Owners must provide all food and equipment necessary for the pets covered by the respective animal care agreement (collars, leads, tags, medication etc.).
All owners must ensure that their pet(s) are free from skin mites and other contagious conditions and in good health and not exhibiting signs of ill health such as vomiting, diarrhoea, coughing, high temperature, etc.

Perfect Pet Services’ Undertaking

Perfect Pet Services hereby undertakes with the Owner:

To take reasonable care of the Owner's pet during the period of its boarding in Perfect Pet Services’ premises.
In the event of failure by the Owner to collect their pet from Perfect Pet Services on the due date, Perfect Pet Services reserves the right to terminate this agreement without notice and to re-home the Owner's pet by any reasonable means.
Perfect Pet Services is insured in accordance with the terms of their insurance policy. Claim limit applies.
Perfect Pet Services will not accept any liability for loss, injury or death to the Owner's pet unless (and only to the extent that) such loss, injury or death is recoverable under the terms of the insurance policy.
Perfect Pet Services will not accept any liability for loss, injury or death to the Owner's pet with access to outdoors, i.e. cat flap.
Perfect Pet Services will not be held liable or responsible in any way for pets left overnight during pet sitting, for damage caused by pets to themselves, each other and/or any property damage caused by them or any other third party, any illness or death(s) occurring due to them being left for long periods.
Perfect Pet Services should keep house, pet & belongings pertaining thereto in a clean & tidy state (as they find them).
All dogs will be walked on a lead unless previously agreed by both parties and then only if the Owner has signed a disclaimer.
All pets will be transported, if necessary or by pre-booked appointment, in a secure crate within Perfect Pet Services' vehicle.
Owner’s keys, if held, will be locked away securely when not in use. Keys held temporarily for pet visits/walking will be returned as soon as the owner informs us of their safe return.

Perfect Doggy Daycare Centre

In Addition -

When dogs mix together and engage in play or otherwise they sometimes get injured. If you, the owner object to this possibility you should reconsider using day care for your dog. It is a requirement that your dog(s) are insured to cover against all possibilities. As the day care centre is open plan we cannot accept aggressive dogs under any circumstances. Adult males must be neutered and bitches in season cannot be accepted. Due to insurance requirements, certain breeds of dogs will not be allowed use the Doggy Daycare Centre after the age of 6 months. No dog may enter the day care centre for fourteen days after a nasal kennel cough vaccination. Perfect Pet Services reserves the right to refuse and exclude any dog from the Doggy Daycare Centre.

Security and Confidentiality

Client confidentiality will be maintained at all times, client details will be kept private and will never be used for any purpose other than caring for your pet(s). Your dog may be photographed whilst in our care. Photographs may be used on the Perfect Pet Services website, Facebook or other printed materials. Please let us know if you would prefer your dog(s) not to be photographed.

This agreement contains a whole agreement between the parties.

It is subject to English Law and any dispute arising out of it shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
