Puppies and adult dogs will benefit from socialisation throughout their lives. Everyone they meet, everything they see and everywhere they go will be a brand new experience for your puppy. This period as a puppy can make a big difference to their behaviour in later life, negative behaviour in fully-grown dogs can often be traced back to a lack of socialisation as a puppy. It’s therefore vital that you give your puppy a wide range of experiences in a calm and controlled way. And it’s our job to make it all as enjoyable as possible so that they learn to be relaxed, confident and friendly.
Once fully vaccinated your puppy is welcome here at the Doggy Daycare Centre where we introduce and socialise your puppy in a controlled environment until they can be fully integrated with fully-grown dogs... there is no joining fee or contract.
Up to the age of 6 months - TWO FREE 2 hour sessions.
Perfect Doggy Daycare Centre is licensed and inspected regularly by Newport County Council.
We are also a proud member of the Pet Industry Federation

THE DOG FIELD OPENING HOURS
MONDAY TO SUNDAY 8.00am to 9.00pm
The Dog Field is a secure field with 6 foot (1.8m) fences to enclose the entire field. The field has gated access and is only bookable for one party at a time.
If your dog can or will attempt to jump over 6 foot fences, our field may not be suitable. Owner discretion is advised.
While it might seem like a good idea, putting agility equipment into a dog walking field isn't recommended due to potential safety and liability issues. Untrained dogs and handlers can misuse the equipment, leading to injuries.
A secure dog walking field provides a safe space for dogs to exercise off-lead, but without the added complexity of agility equipment.
Agility equipment is designed for dogs that have been trained to navigate it safely. Without proper guidance, dogs could injure themselves on jumps, seesaws, or other obstacles.
Many commercial agility sets aren't designed with the same safety features as professional agility equipment, potentially increasing the risk of injury. For example, the bars on jumps might be too rigid or the tires may not be breakaway designs.
Some dogs and breeds may not be suited for agility training, and the presence of equipment could create a stressful environment.
Dog walking fields and play parks require insurance to cover potential injuries. Adding agility equipment without proper assessment and risk management could void existing policies or make it difficult to obtain adequate coverage.
For further information regarding agility training, contact our Dog Trainer who is a fully qualified agility instructor.
Yes, the Dog Field is completely enclosed and private, meaning that you won't encounter any other dogs in the field during your booking. Reactive dogs are welcome to use the field to enjoy off-lead freedom with owner peace of mind.
Any breed or size of dog can use The Dog Field @ Perfect Pet Services. If your dog is on the banned breed list, as set out in the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, please see the below terms.
All banned breeds may use the field with a Government Exemption Certificate and relevant insurance. A copy of this exemption certificate must be emailed to info@perfectpetservices.com prior to attendance.
All banned breeds MUST wear a muzzle and lead until securely in the field – the gate must be locked before removing lead and muzzle. The dog must be wearing the lead and muzzle before unlocking the gate to exit.
Any dogs who attend the secure field with an XL Bully or banned breed must live in the same household and are the responsibility of their owner.
